• This is it. Vancouver's premier Belgian restaurant. Moules frites, Belgian waffles for brunch, and a beer list that includes Chimay, Westmalle, Delirium, and rotating specialty Belgians. The cocktails are excellent too.
• Match day plan: Book dinner here AFTER the 8 PM match. Walk directly from BC Place in 5 minutes. Call ahead to reserve — they will be packed.
• Price: $35-55 per person with beer.

The Alibi Room (Gastown)

• Distance from BC Place: 10-min walk
• 50+ taps of craft beer, including Belgian-style ales from local breweries. Not a Belgian bar, but the beer quality and selection is the best in Vancouver. Period.
• The move: Start here for pre-match drinks, then walk to BC Place.

St. Augustine's (Commercial Drive)

• Distance from BC Place: 20 min by transit
• 50+ taps, dedicated Belgian beer section. More of a neighbourhood pub vibe. Excellent for a relaxed evening away from the stadium crowds.

Craft Beer Market (Olympic Village)

• Distance from BC Place: 12-min walk
• 100+ taps. Not Belgian-focused but always has Belgian-style options. Huge space, big screens, good for groups.

Local Breweries Doing Belgian Styles

Vancouver's craft scene produces excellent Belgian-style beers:

• Strange Fellows Brewing (East Van) — Makes an outstanding Saison and occasionally Belgian-style dark ales. Small taproom, great atmosphere.
• Brassneck Brewery (Main St) — Known for experimenting. They often have a Belgian-inspired brew on tap. Check their board.
• 33 Acres Brewing (Main St) — Clean, minimalist brewery. Their 33 Acres of Life is a witbier-adjacent ale that Belgian fans will appreciate.
